And to the Pumpkin Patch we go!

It started out so nice. She woke from a nap and we got on the tractor ride to go to the patch. But once we got to the patch, she wasn't a fan of the pumpkins. Or should I say, not a fan of sitting with them.

The blog-checkin' cous'!

Hey Andrew! I hear you check me out quite a bit so I thought I should put a picture of us together! Well, Mommy had to help me with the typing and computer stuff but I wanted to do it! Love you! Zoe

Zoe is SIX months - unbelievable!

splish splash!

It's been awhile since I've posted. For some reason, when I remember, I'm in bed or in the shower. Or otherwise indisposed. And it's summer. Ya, that's my excuse. We're busy! Well today we went to the pool for the first time and Zoe did VERY well. At first she kinda fussed, but not too much. Then we put her in this floaty toy and she almost fell asleep, that's how relaxed she was. So sweet.

Zoe's 5 month shot

When I look back at her first two months pictures, I cannot believe the difference. She really looks like a little girl now.

Zoe Mae is 5 months old already!

I cannot believe how quickly this time is going by. Life moves quickly with a wee one. Zoe is a sweet, easy baby.

What a wonderful day!

I was puttering around in the garden, trying to thin it out a bit (it was futile) and brought Zoe out to play with me. Really, she just watches me or Molly while we do our thing in the backyard. Occassionally, Molly will go over to her and lick her hand just to say "hi!". It was pretty warm, so I had to have her naked and in the shade. Ain't she cute?

A Restrospective Part 2: Zoe comes home

We finally got to bring Zoe home after 5 days in Surrey Memorial's NICU. She was a trooper and healed very quickly. We put her in the outfit that Grandma kept for all these years and home we went. Molly was very excited to see her new sister, but sure didn't like it when she cried. It only took a couple of weeks and Molly was an old hat at the big sister role. It's really too bad Zoe didn't like her beautiful bassinet. It was Ian's bassinet as a baby and travelled a long way to greet little Miss Zoe. We shall pass it along to the next family member to have a baby... hint hint Jen and Graeme! :0)

A retrospective view part 1: birth

Grampa's hand is so big Holding Daddy's hand

What a rough start in this world. We are very lucky to have her so happy and healthy.
